We knit openwork tops. Top with an openwork yoke Top with an openwork yoke knitting patterns

Every needlewoman dreams of creating a unique and inimitable thing for her wardrobe. After all, handmade clothes are quite expensive and are not sold everywhere. An openwork top with knitting needles will help to complement the fashionable image. It will emphasize your femininity and lightness, add a touch of coquetry. Wearing such clothes is a pleasure - it is light and airy, pleasant to wear and very beautiful.

History of technology

The first garments knitted with knitting needles appeared in ancient Rome. Women used then available linen and cotton to create the simplest canvases. Their fragments were discovered by archaeologists during excavations of ancient tombs.

The development of knitting was facilitated by knowledge brought from the East, where already in the 9th century they successfully used knitting needles. Numerous Crusades allowed the Europeans to adopt the skill. Secular ladies successfully used the technique to create clothes and household items. Through careful selection, many schemes were formed, the patterns for which were borrowed from weaving and embroidery. At first, this type of needlework was popular only among wealthy ladies. This was due to the high price of yarn, which was made from cotton.

The mechanization of the processing and spinning of thread made it inexpensive and accessible even to peasants. They worked on the creation of lace, which was in demand at that time, with which they could earn a living.

Since the creation of the first knitting machine, knitted items have been produced on an industrial scale. But needlework has not lost its attractiveness in the eyes of the masters. They continue to do hand knitting and, if possible, pass on their knowledge to the next generation.

A lot of designers are working on the creation of new products in the fashion world. Every year in their collections they show fashionable images in which knitted clothes are widely used.

Top with openwork braids

To create a model of this top, a sectional dyeing thread is used. It allows you to make the transitions soft and not have to constantly change the thread.

Openwork fabric with braid inserts looks organic. A simple cut of the product will emphasize the graceful line of the neck and chest, due to an interesting neckline. Even an inexperienced master will cope with the work.

To make a top for women size 46-48, take:

 • 200 grams of sectional dyed yarn (100 g/240 m). It should consist of an equal amount of cotton and polyacrylic fibers. This combination will make the thing pleasant to the body and wear-resistant;
 • Needles 3 mm;
 • Hook 4 mm.

The back and front pieces are knitted the same way. To complete them, cast on 82 stitches and work 4 rows in garter stitch. After that, you need to start forming a canvas pattern. Work: edge st, 10 sts in stockinette stitch, 12 sts in Chart 11.1, 8 sts in Chart 11.2, 20 sts in Chart 11.3. from this point the reverse order of the pattern begins, i.e. 8 loops of scheme 11.2, etc. finish the row with an edge loop. Work 15 cm of the fabric and decrease twice, 1 loop in every tenth row. Knit 8 rows and increase in the same way.

When the canvas reaches 38 cm, form a sleeve. Increase 12 stitches on both sides of the fabric. Form a neckline by closing the middle 36 loops, at a height of 50 cm. Then each side is knitted separately. Bind off the 3 outer sts on every second row twice. Then close 2 times 2 loops and 1 time 1 loop. When the canvas reaches 55 cm, close the shoulder loops (24). It remains only to complete the seams and tie the neck and sleeves with a “crustacean step”.

For work, use the following diagrams and pattern:

Neat openwork

The following diagrams and descriptions of the knitting process will help you in creating a summer top. You only need to choose the right model.

A convenient and simple model of a women's top, which even a beginner can handle.

The top is made on a yoke, with a stylish pattern "openwork paths". The abundance of natural fibers in the composition of the yarn will make this model pleasant to wear. A pleasant geometric pattern will help visually stretch the figure and gently hide small flaws. Description and schemes according to which the model is executed, see below.

Do you wear plus size clothes? This is not a reason to completely hide your body. We present to your attention several models for full ladies, which will gently correct the problem areas of the figure and give the image of femininity and lightness.

To make the summer bright and unforgettable, decorate your beloved daughter with an openwork top. Products for children are easy to perform, and the small consumption of yarn will also please. For an older girl, both flyaway models and tank tops are suitable. Embroidered elements or alternation of openwork and simple knitting look spectacular. Mesh patterns, equipped with a pattern, are very light and airy. Very small crumbs will be comfortable with tops with a yoke or straps. A small selection of patterns with a description of knitting will help you choose a decent summer outfit for your daughter.

Summer top associated with an interesting round yoke, which is continued by a beautiful pattern of openwork leaves. For knitting a summer top, yarn from viscose and linen was chosen so that the knitted thing was comfortable to wear in the heat.

Sizes: 38/40 (42/44)

You will need: yarn (70% viscose, 30% linen; 93 m / 50 g) - 350 (400) g linen; knitting needles number 3; circular knitting needles number 3.

Pattern 1: front surface = rows in the forward and reverse direction: front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops. Round Rows: Knit only.

Pattern 2: coquette pattern= circular rows (the number of loops at the beginning is a multiple of 8) = knit according to scheme 1. Odd and even circular rows are given on it. In the next round after each round with yarn over, constantly drop all the yarn over and pull up the loops. Constantly repeat the rapport and the 1-8th circular rows.

Attention! With the exception of the 1st increase in the 2nd circular row (see instructions), increases of 1 st in each repeat are given starting from the 6th circular row and then in every 4th circular row. Run 1 time 1-34th circular rows, then only for the 2nd size, repeat 1 more time 28-34th circular rows = 34 (41) circular rows in total.

Pattern 3: elastic band= alternately 1 facial, 1 purl.

Pattern 4: openwork pattern= circular rows (the number of loops is a multiple of 11) = knit acc. scheme 2. Odd circular rows are given on it. In even circular rows, knit all loops and crochets. Constantly repeat the rapport and the 1st-12th circular rows.

Knitting density: pattern 1 - 23 p. x 40 p. / Krug.r. = 10 x 10 cm; pattern 2 - 23 p. x 31 circle. = 10 x 10 cm: pattern 4 - 23 p. x 31 circle. = 10x10 cm.

Attention: pullover knit from top to bottom in a single fabric, first in rows in the forward and reverse direction, then in circular rows. Arrow on the pattern = direction of knitting.

Description of knitting a top with knitting needles:

Starting from the upper edge of the round yoke in the middle of the back, dial 72 (78) sts on the needles and knit with pattern 1 in rows in the forward and reverse direction, while marking the middle of the work as the middle of the back. At the same time, dial to round the neck on both sides in each 2nd row from the initial row 1 x 4 p., 7 x 3 p., 1 x 6 p. = 134 (140) p. Then in the next 2nd row at the end row, connect the beginning and end of the row using an intermediate set of 4 (10) p. (= middle of the front neck) and on all 138 (150) p. continue to work with pattern 1 in circular rows, while in the 2nd circular row evenly add 10 ( 12) p. (= knit 1 front crossed from the transverse thread) = 148 (162) p. After 6 cm = 24 rows / circular rows from the initial row or after 1 cm = 4 circular rows from the middle of the neckline, fasten the new thread to in the middle of the back (= the beginning of the circular row) and from / to the middle of the back, continue to work with a pattern of 2 circular rows, while in the 2nd circular row evenly add 12 (14) p. = 160 (176) p.; these additions are not shown in the diagram. After the 22nd circular row from changing the pattern, there will be 260 (286) sts on the needles. After 11 cm = 34 circular rows (13 cm = 41 circular rows) from changing the pattern, the end of the round yoke will be reached.

Further from the beginning of the circular row in the middle of the back, knit as follows: 46 (50) p. Pattern 3, close 39 (44) p. finish 1 front, close 39 (44) p., as front (= right armhole), 45 (49) p. with pattern 3, while starting and finishing 1 purl.

In the next round, knit as follows: 46 (50) sts with pattern 3, cast on 19 (22) new sts, 91 (99) sts with pattern 3, cast on 19 (22) new sts, 45 (49) sts with pattern 3 = 220 (242) p. Then knit another 1 circular row according to. pattern, while purl the newly dialed loops, and then purl 1 circular row on all loops.

After 1 cm = 3 circular rows from the round yoke, starting in the middle of the back, continue working with pattern 4, while shifting the beginning of the circular row by 1 p., i.e. The 1st loop of the circular row, without knitting, slip on the right knitting needle (this loop at the end of the circular row is included in 3 stitches, knitted together with a broach), then start the pattern from the 2nd loop of the circular row. After 33 cm = 102 circular rows from the beginning of knitting with pattern 4, knit another 1 cm for the lower bar = 3 circular rows with purl and 1 circular row with facial ones. Then close all the loops, as facial ones.

An elegant figure top, decorated with an openwork ornament, is very useful in the summer. It does not look like a beach, and it can be used in the office and other, more or less formal environments. It is convenient because it is knitted from cotton yarn (DROPS MUSKAT, 50g/100m). The model was created by DROPS Design specialists for S - M - L - XL - and also sizes for full - XXL - XXXL, and for each size there is a pattern pattern in the application. We also have a pattern with all numerical indicators. For the top, 7-8-9-10-11-12 skeins of the proposed yarn will be enough. Its thread is convenient to knit with 4 mm needles. Since we will start work by performing k / p (circular rows), then the knitting needles should also be circular.

Knitting density we define it as follows: from 21 loops (pt) we perform 28 rows = 10x10 cm. We knit with front stitch (lc / ch).

Description

Let's start knitting the top from the bottom and go in a circle up. Since the pattern contains the design of the waist, then in the process of work you will need to add and subtract pt in k / r.

We add pts with the help of yarns, which are subsequently converted into crossed ltspt (facial pts).

Decrease pt around the mrk (markers): before the mrk we perform a broach, and after it we knit 2 ltspt together.

The main detail of the summer top with an openwork yoke from Drops

Cast on 210-224-238-266-294-322 sts. We knit 4 k / r garter knitting (pl / c).

Then we make a border according to scheme A.1. = 180-192-204-228-252-276 sts.

We install RTOs designed to separate the front from the back:

Mrk1 - tying 45-48-51-57-63-69 stitches;

Mrk2 - after completing 90-96-102-114-126-138 stitches. We finish c/r 45-48-51-57-63-69 pt.

We knit lc / ch to a height of 7cm.

In the next k / r we decrease around the RTOs by 1 pt (see above).

We do this operation to decrease pt 6-5-3-5-5-5 more times, leaving between k / r with decreases of 2-2½-4-2½-2-2½ cm = 152-168-188-204-228 -252 pt.

Having reached 24 cm from the edge, we begin the additions around the RTO - 1 pt each, repeating them a total of 8-7-6-5-7-7 times. The distance between the shorts with the addition of stitches is 1-1-1½-2-2-2 cm = 184-196-212-224-256-280 stitches.

When the height of the canvas reaches 35-37-38-40-41-43 cm, we begin to work on the armholes:

Work in the first 42-45-49-51-59-65 sts;

Knit 84-90-98-102-118-130 stitches;

Cast off 8-8-8-10-10-10 sts;

Finish k/r = 168-180-196-204-236-260 sts. We put off work.

Sleeves

Cast on 62-64-65-71-72-76 sts. We perform 3 rows of lcpt.

In the next row, cast off 4-4-4-5-5-5 stitches of the first; We knit 54-56-57-61-64-66 stitches. At the same time inc evenly 6-6-5-5-4-4 stitches; cast off last 4-4-4-5-5-5 sts = 60-62-62-66-66-70 sts. We cut the thread.

Yoke

We collect on the knitting needles the stitches of the main part and sleeves in their places. We knit k / p again.

We work according to A.2; then according to A.3; then according to A.4 = 108-114-120-126-138-150 stitches.

Work 2 k/r in pl/v pattern, decreasing 6-4-2-0-4-8 sts evenly at the same time = 102-110-118-126-134-142 sts.

2 more k / p we knit pl / v. We close freely all Fri.

Assembly

We connect the undercuts of the sleeves with a seam, we also sew the sleeves themselves.

Patterns and schemes

Front surface

In the front rows, knit the loops with the front ones, in the wrong ones - with the wrong ones.

openwork pattern

Knit according to the scheme (the number of loops of the pattern is a multiple of 10 + 1 p.).

Knitting density

22 p. x 34 p. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with the front stitch with knitting needles No. 3.5.

Important!

The density of knitting must correspond to the specified!

If only one number is indicated in the instructions, then it applies to all sizes!

Completing of the work

The item is knitted in one piece. Start at the edge of the right sleeve, knit on circular needles in rows in forward and reverse directions.

On circular needles No. 3.5, dial 83 (89) 95 (101) p. And knit with front stitch, while on the middle 81 p.

Important: mark the middle loop with a contrasting thread and continue the marks to the closed loops of the neck.

Having connected 5 p., Add 1 p. on both sides (= after / before the hem). Repeat these increases in every 4th p. (in total, add 5 sts on each side), on the added loops, knit with front stitch.

After 3 r. after the last row with increases, dial loops for the side edges. Make a mark and dial 84 (86) 88 (90) p. at the end of the next 2 p. = total on the needles 261 (271) 281 (291) p.

Continue working on all loops (knit hem in all rows).

After about 10 (11) 12 (13) cm from the side marks of the loop, divide at the mark on the sleeve (the loop with a contrasting thread refers to the front) and finish both sides separately, continuing to work with the same distribution of patterns.

Back

To round the neck, close from the inside edge at the beginning of each face. rows of 3, 2, 2, 1, 1 p., then knit straight.

Not less than 7 (8) 9 (10) cm after the last row with closed loops, finish with the 10th or 22nd row of the openwork pattern (in the next row, make a mark in the middle), tie another 7 (8) 9 (10) cm and dial the loops for rounding the neck in the reverse order to how they closed on the back.

Postpone work temporarily.

Front

Rounding the front neckline as follows: first bind off 10 stitches, and then close the loops in the same way as described for rounding the neckline of the back.

Make a mark at the same height as on the back and knit the second part of the neck in the same way = cast on loops in reverse order.

Important: finish the openwork pattern in the same row as on the back.

Connect the loops of the back to the loops of the front and continue to work on all loops with the same distribution of patterns.

Having connected the same number of rows for the left shoulder as for the right, close 84 (86) 88 (90) p. at the beginning of the next 2 p. (= side edges).

Knit the left sleeve, like the right one, but instead of increases in faces. rows to perform decreases: knit
1 p., 2 p. knit together, knit to the last 3 loops on the knitting needle, remove 1 loop, knit the next loop and stretch the removed loop through the knitted one, knit 1 p.

Having connected the same number of rows for the left sleeve as for the right one, close the loops.

Assembly

Sew sleeve seams and side seams.

Bottom edge binding

Crochet number 3 to perform a number of art. b / n along the bottom edge of the product = perform approximately 1 tbsp. b / n in every 2nd row, a row to close the connection. Art. and knit the next row like this: ch 3, 1 tbsp. s / n back to the same loop, skip 1 tbsp. b / n, * 1 tbsp. b / n in the next loop, 1 tbsp. s / n back to the same loop, skip 1 p., 1 tbsp. b / n in the next loop *, repeat from * to *, close the row. Art. in the 1st loop of the row.

Sleeve hemming

Crochet No. 2.5, run along the edge of each sleeve a row of st. b / n = knit 1 tbsp. b / n in each loop, a row to close the connection. Art. and knit the next row in the same way as for tying the bottom edge, but instead of 1 p., skipping 2 loops.

Neck strapping

Crochet No. 2.5, run along the edge of the neck a row of st. b / n = knit 1 tbsp. b / n in each loop in areas with closed / dialed loops, 1 tbsp. b / n in every 2nd row on straight sections. Close a number of conn. Art. and knit the next row in the same way as for tying the edges of the sleeves.
